My pathway to adland has been more ↝ than →. First I was a law and literature student. Then a TV and radio host in Sydney and Melbourne. Experimented in tech. Wrote a stage musical. Got into ads. Eventually became Senior Copywriter at WPP’s the Brand Agency. Right now I’m travelling the world.

I have written all sorts of cool things. 360° integrated campaigns seen around the world, a webseries, a sellout stage musical currently in its third season, Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows, poetry, TV, sketches, podcasts, AI bots, Alexa apps, even an interactive-GPS-based-audio-game. And a fair few copy decks and EDMs.

What awards has he won?

Just as I left Australia, I was awarded the intimidatingly-named Diamond Skull for Copywriter of the Year by the Perth Advertising and Design Club - the highest accolade a Perth copywriter can win. My work has also been recognised by the Effies, Campaign Brief, Sirens and BestAds. My stage writing, podcasting and radio work have attracted awards too.
