Role: Copywriter

I’ve created a lot of content for Mercedes-Benz Vans, including a social video called “After Lockdown” which was created proactively during COVID-19 to position the X-Class as a symbol of the freedom everyone was yearning for.

I also turned a brief for a simple handover of a promotional X-Class into an ongoing content series. I made it into a prank featuring two superstars of the Western Bulldogs AFL team, Marcus Bontompelli and Bob Murphy. I oversaw the shoot, which had to be nailed in one take, and created an interview test drive for Bont to give Murph. The resulting interview was so successful that Mercedes adapted it into a series that was used as a content spike on their social media throughout 2020.

Under the banner of ‘Love Your Work’ I have researched, interviewed, and written several articles, with talent as diverse as the freight manager at Australia Post, to surfer Mick Fanning.
